Ciao a tutti,
Things in Italy have basically settled into a daily routine school,studying,friends,etc...This past week was hard because a really good friend of mine Zac who was staying in a temporary family in Bari moved to Sicily on saturday it makes me feel a lot more alone here. There are still adjustements to the italian lifestyle that are hard to make for instance I am still 100% american in my attitude towards hygiene. The language is still very difficult but I notice how far I have come. Last weekend I went with my sister over to a friend Sergio's house we ate some of the best food i've eaten while here in Italy and that says something :) On a heavier note things with my family have reached an almost unmanagable state and i am talking to my rep about switching later this week if I can't switch i think i may come home at semster because I honestly can't stay with them for the year. i'm trying to keep positive but it's hard.

I hope all is well back in the states. Last week was a break from school wednesday,thursday,friday,saturday it was really fun. I went to the mall and just hung out in the center of Bari a lot. Some of the most exciting news here in bari is a new 5 story H&M just opened I went in on opening day and it was packed! I'm slowly forgetting some english not speaking but spelling and grammar. The italian language is still so frustrating because I feel like I can understand so much when people are talking to me but speaking is still very difficult. Halloween here was so strange now I understand why everyone says you get more homesick on holidays. My friend Zac and I went on a picture taking excursion. I'll try uploading photos later
